Marc “Goose” Geisler, MSCJ-PA

Marc Geisler enlisted in the United States Army in 1989. He completed the Basic Airborne course immediately after graduating One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning. He then went to serve with the 3-187th Infantry Regiment "Rakkasans". He deployed to the Middle East with the Rakkasans during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, upon his return he reenlisted and deployed to Vicenza, Italy where he served with the 3-325th Airborne Infantry as part of the Southern European Task Force.
After leaving the military Marc continued to serve his country and community by entering into the field of law enforcement. He started his career as a Police Officer in Montgomery, Alabama, where he served proudly from 1994-1999. He returned to Florida in 1999 to be closer to family and joined the Saint Lucie County Sheriff's Office. During his 25-year tenure as a member of this agency he served in many capacities including Patrol Deputy, Traffic Investigator, Motor Officer, SWAT Team Member, and K-9 Handler. Marc was called early on to teach and mentor others as a Field Training Officer and as an agency instructor in the field of Firearms, Defensive Tactics, and Driving. Marc eventually sought promotion and as a Sergeant was assigned to Patrol Operations, STAR team, Power Squad, and School Resource.
During his time as a K9 handler he started and served as Co-owner and Managing Member of Prometheus K9. Where he and his K9 teams provided specialized detection dog to civilian clients. Notably his biggest client was Princess Cruise Lines where he worked in conjunction with the Broward County Sheriff’s, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as Customs and Immigration to prevent explosives from being used to harm civilians in and around Port Everglades, Florida.
Marc has been a lifelong student of learning and holds a Master's in Criminal Justice and Public Administration from Liberty University as well as a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Columbia Southern University. He is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute's 84th Command Officers Development Course. Marc completed the FBI-LEEDA leadership trilogy and the Indian River State College Leadership Track.
Marc retired to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia in 2025 and has been enjoying time with his wife of 21 years, his family and his friends. Marc is proud of his faith and his relationship with the Lord and has recently been called to serve as the Senior Executive Assistant to the President of the Keepsake Blue Foundation.
