

James "Jim" Roberts, LMSW

Jim Roberts enlisted in the Army in 1993 and graduated from Fort Benning One Station Unit Training later that year. He has served in numerous infantry units to include the 25th Infantry Division (Light),The Third U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard), and twice with 3rd BN 327th In (AASLT). In 2010, Jim was Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Corps, serving in a wide array of positions in support of global missions until he was medically retired in 2016.
Jim deployed in several functional and combat tours, participating in the 3/327 Infantry’s Humanitarian Assistance in the Bitterroot National Forest, (Missoula, MT); Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq) also with the 3/327 In, and geospatial communications in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, 3rd PSYOP BN & 4th BDE, 4th ID.
Once retired, Jim returned to school to pursue his Master of Social Work. Mr. Roberts has a passion for helping people, Veterans in particular, realize their potential by giving professional presentations on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as it relates to the Veteran population. Mr. Roberts has worked with Veterans and Active-Duty Families to provide behavioral healthcare to those in his community working for/with many 501c3 agencies, the Department of Defense, and currently with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mr. Roberts has a passion for learning and has earned his Six Sigma Green Belt, along with several awards for his academic and professional accomplishments.
He has been married to his wife Tiffany for over 20 years, and together they enjoy raising their four children.
